STUDY VISA  

In order to obtain a study visa for South Africa, you will have to be in possession of a provisional acceptance from a South African educational institution as well as proof of valid medical aid cover for South Africa for the full time of your studies. The visa will be valid for the period of the studies and can be renewed.

As a holder of a study visa you may also apply for permission to work for the purposes of getting work experience, as part of your studies to obtain a diploma or degree.  The holder of a study visa may work part-time for no more than 20 hours per week. However, the holder of a study visa may not work during academic vacations.
